How can I extend the device’s operating time in winter when temperatures are low and daylight hours are limited?

For optimal winter battery life, enable the PIR trigger recording mode and energy-saving mode in the app. A full charge will last all season, with alarms pausing briefly to conserve power and avoid repeated triggers.

How to set energy-saving mode?

Update the Reolink app to the latest version. You can select energy-saving mode during the initial setup. If the camera is already configured, simply update the app and select energy-saving mode on the battery settings page.

How efficient is the solar panel?

With about 2 hours of direct sunlight, the 6W solar panel can power the camera for continuous or pre-recording use throughout the day (24 hours). Please upgrade to the latest firmware version to ensure optimal battery life.

PTZ Camera not Rotating？

1.Verify the power supply meets PT motor requirements and turn off IR lights/spotlights before operation.

2.Calibrate the camera. Move the camera from a zero point to horizontal center, then through vertical positioning.

Does it support NAS or RTSP?

RTSP/NAS support is available through the Reolink Home Hub or Home Hub Pro. Without the hub, remote access and live view are still available via the Reolink App/Client—no subscription required.
